Your Dosha is not an enemy, but an ally!

Doshas are innate and do not change throughout your life.

Doshas are sometimes understood as our weakest point, or even as a sign of our less-than-good fate. For example, "I'm constipated because I'm a Vata dosha," "I have acne because I'm a Pitta dosha," or "I'm overweight because I'm a Kapha dosha."

However, doshas are not your character. They are abilities passed down to you from your ancestors.

What if the very thing that makes you feel helpless is actually your greatest strength? Doshas are abilities naturally bestowed upon you.

People who cling to their doshas and shape their identities by focusing only on their negative aspects generally see only the negativity and fail to see their own strengths. They become trapped in a one-dimensional way of existence. They confine themselves in a kind of cage of resigned helplessness.

But doshas are all about understanding what you need at this stage of your life. Things that challenge you mentally or physically are actually moments when your inner self is reminding you to stop. And what could be more valuable than having a system that can still remind you to stop?

If you feel mentally overwhelmed, scattered, and your hands and feet are cold, it means you need more warmth, warm oil massages, and tranquility in your life to feel more grounded.

If your stomach is burning occasionally, you find yourself getting angry and irritated over small things, and you have red and burning eyes, it's time to cool down and spend some time in nature. Stay away from screens and avoid spicy foods.

If you can't get out of bed in the mornings, feel bloated, and don't even want to go outside, start exercising immediately and focus on boosting your metabolism. A warm ginger tea would be a good start.

The best way to find a version of yourself that listens more to your needs is to make peace with your dosha. Remember, your dosha is an ally, not an enemy!
