Caffeine Alternatives
One of the most challenging aspects of trying to cut down on coffee is figuring out what to drink instead.
Sometimes, depending on the time of day, your needs, and your body's signals, different drinks can be beneficial. Here are two of my favorite recipes that I often prepare:
Golden Milk: Prepared with turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon, this classic recipe, with its balanced aroma of warm spices, is especially perfect for evening meals.
KiKiRe Tea: Prepared with coriander, cumin, and fennel seeds, this traditional herbal tea has a mildly spicy and refreshing aroma, making it a delightful beverage to enjoy throughout the day or after meals.

Caffeine is one of the most commonly consumed stimulants today, and for many of us, it's a natural part of starting the day, focusing at work, or taking a short break. However, it doesn't have the same effect on everyone; energy levels, sleep, digestion, and stress response can vary from person to person.
According to Ayurveda, coffee has a warming, drying, and stimulating nature. Therefore, the same cup of coffee can have completely different effects on two different people.
Recognizing the signals your body gives you and assessing its needs accordingly is one of the first steps in promoting balance.
